Carpentry Workshop

NCA First Year students are exposed to the intricacies of working with wood in the Carpentry Workshop.

They try out their hand in creating diverse types of wooden Joints used in windows, doors and other elements in buildings.

Terracotta Workshop

A Terracotta Workshop was conducted at the NCA campus on the 8th and 9th February 2016 (Monday & Tuesday).

The resource expert was Shri. Gopan, an experienced practitioner of the art from Integrated Rural Technology Centre (IRTC), Mundur, Palakkad.

model making

The Model-making workshop at NCA is an intrinsic part of the Design Studio. It fosters in students the urge to create three dimensional models of their architectural projects employing a variety of materials like mount boards, foam boards, thermocol, wood, and other malleable materials like soap and clay.

A Photography workshop was organized at NCA on 12th April 2018. The workshop was conducted by Ar.Prasanth Mohan – eminent photographer and cinematographer.

The workshop highlighted the relevance of photography as a tool in the architectural design and documentation process.
