Computer Centre
With the advent of computer-aided design and drafting, knowledge of CAD has become an essential part of an architect’s skill set.
The Computer Centre at NCA is equipped with 64 workstations, a printer and a scanner. This lab is used for two purposes – as a CAD Centre and as a Language Lab.
The workstations are of a high configuration so as to support the smooth working of architectural and rendering software such as AutoCAD 2016, Revit, 3DS Max, and SketchUp.
The Language Lab enables students to learn and practice speaking in English. The oral defense of a design project is a critical part of the design process and fluency in English would go a long way in enhancing one’s confidence. Towards this end, regular classes are conducted in the Language Lab.
