Industrial Visit to Hampi

The First Year B.Arch students of Nehru College of Architecture, Lakkidi, Palakkad, conducted an industrial visit to Hampi, Karnataka, to study the practical aspects of Indo-Islamic architecture. During the visit, students observed significant structures such as the Elephant Stables, Lotus Mahal, and Queen’s Bath, gaining insights into architectural styles, materials, and construction techniques. The visit provided valuable field exposure and helped students understand the blend of Vijayanagara and Islamic architectural influences.
