Exploring Building Service Water Supply at Malampuzha Water Treatment Plant. In pursuit of a deeper understanding of building service water supply systems, the 3rd-semester students of the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program from Nehru College of Architecture embarked on an educational journey to the Malampuzha Water Treatment Plant. This industrial visit aimed to provide valuable insights into the critical role of water treatment in ensuring a sustainable and efficient water supply for various building types The primary objective of this visit was to explore the water treatment and distribution processes that are vital for building service water supply. The industrial visit to the Malampuzha Water Treatment Plant was a valuable educational experience that reinforced the importance of water supply systems in building design and planning. It underscored the pivotal role of architects in ensuring that buildings are equipped with reliable and safe water supply systems.
